Gurukul Global School Students pledge and celebrate Pink Turban Day
Students of Class VI to VIII of Gurukul Global School in collaboration with NGO Yuvsatta organized a special assembly to commemorate the girl child on the occasion of Pink Turban Day.
The organisational head of Yuvsatta Sh. Parmod Sharma was present on the dias and spoke to motivate one and all to save, educate, respect and rever the girl child as they were the incarnation of goddess Lakshmi, Shakti and Saraswati.
The students also conveyed through poems, thought and speeches a clear message of saving and saluting the girl child.
The girl Students on the occasion wore Pink dupatta to mark the day.
The special assembly focused on the theme to save the girl child. Poems to empower the girl child won a loud round of applause.
Present on occasion were Director Sh Devraj Setya, Principal Ms Nina Pandey, Associate Principal Ms Sudeshna and Senior Secondary Head Ms Renu Sharma.
