Students of class 5 of Gurukul Global School organized a special virtual assembly to celebrate the birth anniversary of Chandra Shekhar Azad, a man who wanted to get India rid from the clutches of the British and create an independent nation.
The assembly began with a thought, word of the day, poem, speech and was followed with a discussion. A talk on Chandra Shekhar Azad was also presented by the students which was the main highlight of the assembly. The students of Gurukul Global School were also given an insight into the life and times of Chandra Shekhar Azad. Students were also encouraged to think about the sacrifices he made, analyze the importance of those sacrifices, and understand the value of freedom. Principal Mrs Nina Pandey and the head of Junior School Herbinderjit Kaur Rai graced the occasion with their valuable presence.
