To celebrate the spirit of love, gratitude, and togetherness on the occasion of Mother’s Day, a special event themed 'Trash to Fash' was organised at Gurukul Global School for the students of Nursery to Grade II along with their mothers.
The celebration featured a variety of exciting competitions and activities. The 'Glam Walk' competition added charm and confidence to the event, while 'DIY Delight' highlighted the creativity of mothers as they crafted wonderful items with innovation and style. In 'Little Chefs with Mom', the participants presented delightful and mouth-watering delicacies that impressed everyone around. The event also came alive with music, rhythm and energy during 'Rhythm with Mom'.
An enriching health talk was conducted by Dr Deepa Puri from Ellevate A Wellness, where valuable insights on health and wellness were shared with the audience.
The occasion was graciously honoured by the presence of the School President, Mrs Neena Setya, Managing Director, Mr Parveen Setya, Principal, Mrs Urvashi Kakkar and Vice Principal Mrs Renu Sharma. Principal,Mrs Urvashi Kakkar extended her heartfelt wishes and appreciation to all the wonderful mothers present at the event.
The competitions 'Glam Walk' and 'Rhythm with Mom' were judged by Ms Shilpa and Ms Paveena, parents of our Globalites from Grade 3, while the remaining competitions were judged by the Heads of the Departments of Art & Craft and the Culinary Club.
The most touching and memorable highlight of the celebration was the special Aarti ceremony, where the little children performed aarti for their mothers as a beautiful gesture of love, respect and gratitude. The heartfelt moment filled the atmosphere with emotion and warmth, making the event truly unforgettable for everyone present.
