Admission Process - Session 2024-25

:The child should have completed 3 years as on 31stMarch, 2024i.e. born between 1stApril, 2020 and 31stMarch, 2021.

Selection Criteria

: ‘Draw of lots’(after filling up the seats based on *preferential criteria)

Display of the Selected Candidates’ list On 25th January,2024 (Thursday) On the School Website and the Notice Board in the School Premises after 03:00 p.m.
Deposit of Admission fee of the Selected Children By 13th February,2024 (Tuesday) At the school through net banking or cheque/cashin favour of Gurukul Global School.

Documents required of the Child (to be submitted with the Registration Form):

  • One Passport size photograph.
  • One Self-attested copy of the Birth Certificate.
  • One Self-attested photocopy of the Aadhar Card.

*Preferential Criteria (preference will be given to the following):

  • Siblings of students studying in Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh.
  • Children of staff members working in Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh.

EWS/RTE:

Admission for the EWS category (Class-Nursery) will be conducted by the Chandigarh Administration.

  • Admission Criteria for Classes (LKG-VIII)

The Registration is open from 7thDecember, 2023 (Thursday).

Age Eligibility:

LKG - 4 Yrs. & Above (born between 1st April, 2019 & 31st March, 2020)

UKG - 5 Yrs. & Above (born between 1st April, 2018 & 31st March, 2019)

Class I - 6 Yrs. & Above (born between 1st April, 2017 & 31st March, 2018)

  • Subject to availability of seats.
  • Registration Form available Online on our School Website www.gurukulglobal.com

  • Admission Criteria for Class (IX-X)
    • Subject to availability of seats.
    • Only transfer cases with minimum 80% marks in previous class will be considered for admission (subject to approval from CBSE).

    Documents required of the Child for Classes (LKG-X)(to be submitted along with the Registration Form):

    • One Self-attested photocopy of the Aadhar Card/Passport.
    • The Latest Report Card of the last school attendedto be submitted.Additionally,CBSE Registration Number would be required for the students of ClassIX/X.
  • Admission Criteria for Class (XI) Commerce, Humanities, Medical and Non-Medical

    The Registration is open from 18th January, 2024 (Thursday).

    • Subject to availability of seats.
    • Only students with 80% marks and above in Class IX/ Pre-board Result of Class X are eligible for the Admission.
    • Selection will be based on the Written Assessment along with Personal Interaction with the student/parents.
  • Documents required of the Child (to be submitted along with the Registration Form):
    • One Self-attested photocopy of the Aadhar Card/Passport and latest Report Card of the last school attended.
    • One copy of Class IX Final Result & Class X Pre-Board Result.

Concession Criteria of Tuition Fee:

  • Sibling Girl Child - 10%
  • Single Girl Child (Above 10 years of age/Class V) - 10%
  • Single mother having a single Male Child- 10%
  • Single mother having a single Girl Child- 20%

KINDLY NOTE:

  • This is the proposed Fee Structure for Academic Year 2024-25 and will be confirmed at the time of Admission.
  • The Admission Fee and Caution Money to be paid through net banking or cheque/cash in favour of Gurukul Global School.
