Gurukul Global School organized a special Virtual Assembly to celebrate International Yoga Day.
In the week leading upto International Yoga Day, students demonstrated various asanas and shared their photos and videos. The celebration was a reminder to incorporate yoga in their everyday routine to enjoy a happy life and reduce the effects of stress and other physical ailments.
Students rolled out their yoga mats and discovered the power of yoga and how it can calm the mind and strengthen the body. All students participated with fervour and enthusiasm and showcased their Yoga skills. They shared their views on how Yoga exercises can keep us not only physically fit but make us mentally strong and motivated.
A PPT on Yoga Asanas and their effect on various organs and their healing powers was shown to the students. A video was also shared with the students to show them how to practice Yoga, and how Yoga has made a global impact.
Principal Ms Nina Pandey also spoke on the occasion and motivated the students to make Yoga an important part of their daily schedule.
