English Week was celebrated at Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh.The role-play titled ‘Expert Detectives’ was conducted with enthusiastic participation from Class VII students. This engaging activity provided students the opportunity to step into the roles of skilled detectives, helping them hone essential life skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and creative improvisation.

Following the same path, class VIII also participated in role play on the chapter 'Jalebis' wherein students explored themselves in playing the halwai wala making mouthwatering jalebis, wherein the protagonist couldn't resist devouring it and spent his entire fee on buying delicious jalebis, and later repenting on his folly. Such role plays provided an interactive way for students to enhance their critical thinking and teamwork abilities while applying creative strategies in problem-solving. The activity also improved interpersonal skills, as participants had to collaborate and negotiate with their peers. Overall, the exercise was successful in making learning enjoyable, fostering creativity, and developing essential skills for real-world scenarios.
