Lohri Celebration: Keeping the Blaze alive…
Lohri, the festival, which ushers in the joyous spring and bids adieu to the harsh winters was celebrated virtually. A special assembly was conducted in which the students participated by showcasing their marvellous skills through reciting poems, delivering speeches based on Lohri celebration, singing songs etc. An animated video displaying the importance of Lohri, Makar Sakranti and Pongal was also shown to the students. To add fun, the students were made to dance on the beats of Lohri song. The Globalites hope that the coming year would bring happiness in everyone’s life.
