Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a ‘MOM’.

The mother is the greatest influence in her child's life - especially during the formative years. It is at her feet, in her hands, that the child's character is shaped. Her existence is very much essential for the physical and emotional development of a child. Apart from the growth and development of the child, she also plays a significant role in the society, by keeping its moral values intact. The way the adults behave in the society, depends on values inculcated in them by their mothers during their childhood.

It is through the mother that a sense of confidence and self-esteem is instilled in the child. She is the source through which the child can fulfil his dreams. A mother can assume multiple roles and fill the gaps in a child's life, but no one can take her place.

She is the one who nurtures us and teaches us the things that we need to know in order to grow up to be successful adults. A mother is someone who is always there for you when you need her the most. She is the one who loves you unconditionally and would do anything for you. A mother is the greatest gift for a child by God. It is the mother who always loves her children without expecting anything from them in return. She is the most selfless person in this world. Her love is the purest form of love and nothing could be compared to a mother’s love. Mothers are always available to provide a hand and encouragement.

A mom plays many roles from being a doting parent to a strict disciplinarian to a Chef-at-large. She is our nurse when we are sick, chief nutritionist when we try to lose or gain weight, counsellor through all those ups and downs and our conscience keeper. It takes great strength and resolve to be a mother. If you have been nodding your head at some of the things that we said about our moms, then you know your mom is a strong and wonderful person. If you are a strong mom yourself, kudos to you too!

When people today say "You're turning into being like your mother," I take that as the best compliment because as we grow up, we learn from our mothers & realize all the pain & struggles our mother undertook to bring us up.

Mother's Day is the ideal occasion to show this particular woman your appreciation for all she has done for you. Let's mark today as a promise to our mothers that we will stay by their side, cherish them and always keep making them happy and proud.

Heartfelt ‘Happy Mother's Day' to all the wonderful Mothers!
