As students, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of school life and forget to take care of our most important asset- our Health. A healthy body and mind are essential for academic success. Making a few simple changes to our daily habits can make a big difference.

 Healthy Eating Habits

1 Eat a Rainbow: Include a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables in your diet to ensure you’re getting all the essential nutrients.

2 Stay Hydrated : Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water every day to keep your body energized and focused.

3 Avoid Junk Food: Limit your intake of fried and processed foods, which can lead to health problems.

4 Don’t Skip Breakfast: Start your day with a nutritious breakfast to boost your energy and concentration.

5 Pack a Healthy Lunch :  Opt for a balanced lunch with whole grains, lean proteins and plenty of fruits and veggies.

6 Mindful Snacking:  Choose healthy snacks options like nuts, seeds , fruits instead of chips, cakes and cookies.

 

Life Style Tips: 

1 Get Moving : Engage in physical activity for atleast 30 minutes every day, whether it’s  sports, dance, or simply a brisk walk.

2 Sleep Tight:  Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night to help your body and mind recharge.

3 Mange Stress : Try relaxation techniques like meditation, deep breathing , or yoga to cope up with stress and anxiety.

4 Stay Positive: Focus on the good things in life and surround yourself with supportive family and friends.

5 Limit Screen Time : Set boundaries around your screen times and prioritize face to face  interactions and outdoor activities.

6 Take Frequent Breaks : Make Time for relaxation and self care, whether it’s reading a book, listening to music, or taking power nap. By incorporating these healthy habits into your daily routine, you will be well, and on your way to be a happier, healthier you !
