To bring forth the devastation and death caused to the humans by the dropping of nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and to make the students aware about these disasters that took place 75 years ago but the aftermath is visible till date.
The students class VI to VIII made informative posters, slogans and wrote articles about the futility of arms race where human lives suffered.
Ms Sushmeeta from the English faculty addressed and sensitized the students about the tragedy and asked them to pledge that they as future leaders and citizens would always stand against such cruelty and devastation but shall work for world peace and prosperity. The students showcased a touching short film in the special assembly held on the occasion.
