Globalites enthusiastically participate in the inauguration of Amrit Van.
On the occasion of celebration of Van-Mahostav-22 about thirty globalites adorning save tree T-shirt were a part of celebrations along with school students of other schools. Hon’ble Governor and Administrator of U.T Chandigarh Sh.Banwarilal Purohit was the Chief Guest did the honours of inaugurating ‘ Amrut Van’ where in the participating students planted trees under the ‘Van Vibhaag ,Aapke Dwaar’ Plantation drive.
A campaign was also launched on the occasion to save the precious trees and keep the green cover intact. Thirty students from school attended the function along with the teachers of the Eco club Ms. Anju and Ms. Namrata .The students enjoyed planting trees and pledged to keep their surroundings clean and green. The students were given refreshments after the tree plantation drive.
