The more relaxed our mind is, the more happy our life will be.

YOGA is the union of a person’s own consciousness and the universal consciousness. The word ‘YOGA’ originally came from the Sanskrit word ‘YUJ’ means ‘to unite’.  More precisely, Yoga is a type of exercise in which our body follows various positions in order to become more fit or flexible, to improve breathing, and relax our mind. The original context of yoga was spiritual development practices to train the body and the mind to self-observe and become aware of our own persona. The purposes of yoga were to cultivate discernment, awareness, self-regulation and higher consciousness in an individual.

Yoga sometimes, is considered as a relaxation technique for managing stress and muscle tension. Doing yoga on a regular basis ensures a stress free healthy lifestyle. For many years, yoga is considered to be the best medication for all the bodily diseases. Yoga as a relaxation technique activates the parasympathetic nervous system and sends a relaxing message to the brain. In yoga, relaxation refers to the loosening of bodily and mental tension.

HOW YOGA BENEFITS US?

Yoga helps us to attain inner peace and mental well-being. Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines physical poses, controlled breathing, and meditation or relaxation. Yoga may help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and lower your heart rate. The main aim of doing yoga is to cultivate an awareness of inner self. It is the greatest stress buster and a remedy for curing a number of chronic illnesses.

The spiritual and healing aspect of yoga works as a remedy for managing stress. Yoga is a path for enhancing emotional health and spiritual awakenings. It is truly a holistic approach for managing and reducing stress. In the world of great emphasis on vast achievements, progress and pulling others down, yoga as a relaxation technique is an essential factor that ensures mental well-being and inner peace.
