The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment at Gurukul Global School Chandigarh on 14th May, 2022. This occasion was honoured with the message that mother is GOD ON THE EARTH. The school management accorded a warm welcome to the mothers. A grand entertainment and cultural programme was organized in the school auditorium. All mothers participated in different events organized by the school and won attractive prizes. The event started with ‘Mother’s Aarti’ done by the tiny tots to show love and respect to their mothers. Aarti was the main highlight of the event. It was followed by Dance, Ramp Walk, One Minute Games, Best out of waste and many more enjoyable activities revolving around ‘Retro Theme'. It was a pleasure watching the dynamic and energetic performances of mothers with their kids. Ms Pooja Chopra bagged the title of Super Mom; Ms Aarti was declared as the Dancing Diva and Ms Jasmine won the title of Most Creative Mommy in the event. The School President Mrs Neena Setya, Managing Director Mr. Parveen Setya, Director Mr. Devraj Setya & Mr Deepak Dhiman and Principal Ms.Nina Pandey marked their presence in the celebrations. Principal Ms.Pandey Congratulated all the mothers on the occasion and at the same time inspired the children to inculcate virtuous deeds and resort to ethical ways that makes the parents happy and content. All in all it was a day full of fun and frolic for mommies, their children and staff of GGS.
