Gurukul Global School's Eco Club ‘Palash’ joined a special tree-planting ceremony at Sarangpur to commemorate Van Mahotsava.
The special event was planned by NGO Yuvsatta along with the department of forests and wildlife Chandigarh. The Heads of about fifty schools along with their Eco Club incharges assembled at Sarangpur to plant the state flower of Chandigarh i.e. Dhak, Palash at a specially created Palash tree zone.
This event was even more special for the school as their Eco Club is named synonymously with the plantation flower Palash. The plantation drive was undertaken by the Principal of the School Ms Neena Pandey along with Ms Anju Sharma the Eco Club incharge of the school.
