In yet another interactive session with the Alumni, the XI & XII globalites today came face to face and got motivational tips to be at the top, from the School Topper Aryan Laroia.
The session was attended by the School Principal Ms. Urvashi Kakkar, Senior Head Ms. Renu Sharma, and the students as well as teaching faculty of XI & XII.
Aryan stepped up on the stage and shared various tips adopted by him to remain focused and motivated.
He emphasized on the need to set one’s goal/aim in life pretty early and shared that had decided his goal when he was in 7th or 8th standard that, he would clear JEE and study at IIT, Roorkee. He accepted that he was able to achieve his goal due to consistency of effort and ensuring that he didn’t get distracted by social media, He added that one should have a strong peer group and one should be selective while making friends as they can be instrumental in putting right pressure at the right time and can also help in peer group learning. Some other tips included adopting a practical approach, daily setting of goals, making a time table, spending quality time with the family, thinking about one’s parents’ expectations, trusting one’s mentors and many more meaningful ones.
The audience, after giving a sound hearing, also bombarded him with questions to satisfy their doubts.
Principal Ms. Urvashi Kakkar, in the end motivated the students with her worthy tips and asked the students to accept the challenges in a positive way.
