The curtains have fallen on an electrifying week of basketball action as the team U-19 boys from Gurukul Global School reached the climax, clinching the Title of ‘Best of the Bests’ in the UT. Inter School Basketball State Tournament held at Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, Chandigarh, showcasing incredible talent and fierce competition from teams hailing from every corner of the Tricity.
In the culmination of this tournament, the winning team, students of Gurukul Global School emerged as the shining examples of teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship.
The Globalites witnessed intense battle throughout the tournament.
The final match was a thrilling display of athleticism and strategy with GGS emerging as the ultimate victors securing the topmost place in basketball history with a clean sweep of 64 points over their formidable opponents, S.D Public School, Sector 32 with 52 points.
It proved to be a testament to the skill and determination of the team members.
