Gurukul Global School, presents an Enigmatic, Enlightening and Engrossing Show on the theme ‘Go Green and Save Environment’ on Annual Day.
Globalites had the audience mesmerized and glued to their seats as they presented a colorful show on their 'Annual Day' celebrations after a gap of three years.
The glitterati on the occasion saw the presence of Padmashri Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal ji to whom the students of Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh dedicated a special presentation highlighting the great social and environmental tasks undertaken by him to save humanity.
We were privileged and honoured to have with us Dr Raj Bahadur, Former Vice Chancellor, Baba Farid University, Faridkot.
President Ms Neena Setya, MD Sh. Parveen Setya, Directors Sh Pawan Bansal, and Sh Devraj Setya along with the School Principal Ms Nina Pandey, Associate Principal Ms Sudeshna and Senior Secondary Head Ms Renu Sharma also graced the function by their austere presence.
The students presented a colourful show by depicting the natural elements as the showstoppers, mouth pieces and comperers of the show with a strong message that human survival is possible only when our environment is clean and green. The students also presented a Nukkad Natak highlighting the need to look after our elders and not to leave them alone in their old age.
The students presented a motivational skit on Ashay Bhave the young and innovative entrepreneur - the one who created the brand ‘Thaley’ Sneakers using the waste plastic bags and bottles.
On this occasion about ninety students were awarded prizes for showing excellence in various fields and categories, be it academics, sports and other co-curricular activities.
It was a moment of pride for the parents of all those students who made the school proud by scoring full marks in various subjects in the Board examinations. The School Management gave away cash prizes to all the special achievers.
The School Report presented by the Principal was an insight into the ways and means to reach out to the students and to give them excellent opportunities to reach new heights every day.
The Finale saw everyone clapping and tapping as the students showcased the festivals celebrated across our country and the riot of colours and freshness they bring along and unite us all in one string of patriotism and unity.
The mesmerizing and scintillating performances will remain etched in the minds of parents, students and the faculty and keep giving them motivation for all the future endeavours - were the lines of vote of thanks presented in the end.
