It is through play, that children at a very early age, engage and interact in the world around them. Gurukul Global School team has graciously come forward to bring happiness to the children in the school by creating an Itsy Bitsy Corner- a Play Area wherein children can experience structured play along with learning.
9th September, 2023 was an exciting day for GGS wherein we all got to witness the inauguration ceremony of the new playfield. The School President, Mrs Neena Setya and Mannat Sharma of Class V-A who propounded the name ‘Itsy Bitsy Corner’ for the Zone unknotted the ribbon that unlocked the key for all to enter the world of joy and learning. Also present on the occasion were Managing Director, Sh. Parveen Setya, Director, Sh. Devraj Setya and excited Pre-Primary Globalites along with their grandparents who showed keen interest in the exquisite activities installed in the Zone. What a wonderful moment it was, indeed, eagerly awaited by one and all! Smiles and joy filled the campus as everyone entered the play area creatively set up for the little children. Not only the students but the grandparents also indulged in enjoyment as they traversed each and every activity with keen interest and excitement.
The young learners at GGS can now explore making sounds by hitting a range of different objects on the Musical Wall. Not just this, they can all enjoy creating stories through board mounted puzzles, enjoy Wall-Ball Maze Game, create words and increase their vocabulary through Bench & Board Game, Sort, Sequence and peg through the Caterpillar Activity. The kids can learn the concept of Time by operating Analogue Clock as well. The address has been created with a clear and concise aim of developing the gross motor skills, fine motor skills and develop eye-hand coordination along with building their physical endurance and learn in a joyful manner.
The play area design not only compliments the elegance of the facility but also adds lots of fun and enjoyment to active learning. In terms of variety of games, there’s something for everyone!
This step accentuates our commitment to promote and develop the experiential learning right from the age of 3 years and above and is aimed at creating a child-friendly safe place for children to explore in a fun-filled way and learn.
