The Mothers get awareness against Cyber Crime
Mr.Ashutosh Sharma- Cyber Crime Awareness Advisor, Chandigarh police was the Guest Speaker of the workshop on Cyber Crime Awareness which was held especially for the mothers of Globalites of classes VI to XII.
The workshop was attended in both Online and Offline mode by mothers.
Principal, Ms Nina Pandey in her welcome address said that this workshop was being conducted for the mothers who are raising their kids in this age of Cyber Revolution and apart from other responsibilities they need to check, protect and guide their kids too.
The guest speaker started his speech by saying that though internet is a necessity today and every parent has to give his/her kids dangerous weapons like mobiles, laptops and computers these days as they need it to get their education.
He highlighted that Cyber grooming is a threat and exposes the kids to hackers.
He stressed that mothers need to be well informed and know exactly what their children are accessing.
The workshop was a success as more than hundred mothers not only joined Online but shared their concerns about the safety measures to be taken and enquired about the Apps which could help them in tackling their kids to stay safe from Cyber Crimes
Other officials from Cyber Crime department shared about fifteen ways to save not only the kids but everyone from getting involved in frauds.
The workshop concluded with Secondary Head, Ms Renu Sharma proposing the vote of thanks to all the speakers, mothers and staff who had been part of the Workshop
