As the beguls are sounded and the examination fever grips the students of XII, they suddenly realise it's time to say goodbye to their Alma Matar, they feel connected and get nostalgic and to make their moments memorable, the Class XI students of Gurukul Global School hosted a warm Farewell Party for outgoing Class XII students on 10th Feb 2024.
The morning saw the presence of esteemed President Smt. Neena Setya, revered M.D. Sh Parveen Setya, Principal Ms Urvashi Kakkar, the Senior Secondary Head, Ms Renu Sharma and the students of XII being welcomed cordially and traditionally by the Class XI students.
The venue saw a riot of colors as the outgoing students came dressed up in their best attires and could be seen lost and excited as how the times had flown since they were newcomers to being the senior most.
The Class XI students left no stone unturned to make their day special, they arranged a colourful cultural show and a gala ramp walk to choose the Mr. and Ms. Globalite. The prestigious title of Mr. Globalite was conferred upon Robin Sharma of XII Humanities and Miss Globalite title was clinched by Nainika Cheema from XII Humanities. The titles of most Well Dressed Boy was bagged by Rishi Goyal of XII Commerce and Most Well Dressed Girl was jointly bagged by Pakhi Debnath of XII-Sciences and Aadhya Shroff of XII-Humanities.
An array of interesting questions and prompt and crisp replies helped the judges choose the best.
The fun filled extravaganza along with sumptuous lunch made it the most memorable day.
Last but not the least Principal Ms. Urvashi Kakkar addressed the gathering and wished that the students kept bonded with the School and reached new heights. She also wished them luck for their exams and for all their future endeavors.
