A comprehensive workshop was recently conducted at our school for teachers, led by Ms. Sukannya Sharma, Product Manager at Goyal Brothers Prakashan. The workshop focused on the New Education Policy (NEP) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), specifically highlighting the "Four Cs" in education: Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity.
During the workshop, Ms. Sharma provided in-depth insights into how the NEP and NCF emphasize holistic education and encourage a shift from rote learning to experiential learning. She discussed strategies for fostering an ideal learning environment that supports both academic and emotional growth. The teachers were introduced to innovative pedagogical techniques that align with the new policy guidelines.
Ms. Sharma also highlighted practical methods to encourage students to think creatively. She shared various classroom activities and tools that educators can use to nurture students' problem-solving skills and imaginative capabilities. These approaches are designed to create a dynamic and engaging classroom experience, which fosters curiosity and independent thinking among students.
The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where teachers shared their experiences and discussed challenges in implementing the Four Cs in the current education system. Ms. Sharma provided valuable suggestions and encouraged the educators to adopt a student-centric approach that is both inclusive and flexible.
The workshop was a great success, leaving the teachers equipped with new ideas and methodologies to enhance their teaching practices and prepare students for the future
