The students of classes VIII, IX & X attended workshop on mobile de-addiction.
Mr. Sahil Khanna, Founder of Genesis Educates was the guest speaker at Gurukul Global School. He spoke on the topic of Mobile De-addiction.
It was an interactive session and apart from mobile de-addiction he focussed on building focus and concentration. He highlighted the story of David and Goliath and asked everyone to be a David and fight the mammoth monster of addiction to social sights.
He said that with the focus shifting from studies to mobiles, the attention span has reduced and guided the students to have a strong will power and reduce the mobile using time slowly but steadily. He asked them to fix space and time initially and then slowly the de-addiction effect would start.
He started with giving them data usage in billion dollars of various social media sites.
Students benefited from this workshop and it was also attended by the Principal and the senior secondary head.
