Gurukul Global School recently conducted an engaging Workshop on Adolescence for boys of Classes VI to IX, aimed at helping them understand the Physical, Emotional, and psychological changes during the growing phase of their life.
The facilitator, Der. Deepa began by emphasizing the fact that adolescence does not make boys superior to girls, reinforcing the importance of equality and mutual respect, which should be reflected in their gestures, behavior, attitudes and everyday conduct.
The Session covered key aspects of Puberty, such as changes in facial features, body structure, and the activation of sweat glands. With the help of a PowerPoint presentation, the biological concept of Genital Organs Development was also explained, urging and encouraging the students to seek accurate information from teachers or doctors when needed. The boys were also guided to manage their emotions, stand up to peer pressure, and learn to say NO to the uncomfortable situations.
The Workshop concluded with an open discussion, allowing students to clarify doubts in a safe and supportive space, leaving the boys better equipped to navigate Adolescence with confidence and maturity.
