A workshop on First Aid was conducted by the school doctor Dr. Shammi for classes IV and V. She presented a ppt on First Aid explaining Safety is the first priority and to note the three C's of emergency care. Various topics like how to control bleeding, type of burns, fainting, shock, the recovery postion abraisons, etc were covered. How to keep safety at home were also taken up.and maintaining a first aid box is equally necessary for immediate care. The school counselor Ms. Namrata conducted an interactive Quiz on First Aid and child safety. The school health incharge Ms. Raman guided the students to have and check about the first aid box that they should have at home or carry with them when they travel for immediate help and action. It was an interactive workshop where the children got aware of the small and immediate tips to take care and call for help.
