Gurukul Global School successfully hosted its Annual Sports Day on 12 November, 2025 at Sector-7 Chandigarh Sports Complex, with immense zeal, vibrant energy, and spirited participation. The Chief Guests for the day were Mr.Rajpal Singh, former Captain of the Indian Hockey Team and Arjuna Awardee and Mr. Abhay Ojha ,former Group CEO of ITV network and CEO of Zee Media, the Guest of Honour was Mr. Umesh Sharma, a distinguished sports journalist, reverred dignitaries of the school- MD Mr. Parveen Setya, Directors Mr. Deepak Dhiman and Mr. Devraj Setya graced the event with their august presence.The school Principal Ms.Urvashi Kakkar heartily welcomed all the dignitaries and presented the school's Annual Sports Report. Both the Chief Guests of session I and II, encouraged and motivated the students to actively participate in sports and games.
The event stood as a celebration of athletic excellence, discipline, and teamwork, reflecting the school’s unwavering commitment to holistic education and character development. The campus resonated with enthusiastic cheers, impressive performances, and competitive yet friendly sporting events, as students displayed remarkable skill, endurance, and sportsmanship.
The Best Sportsperson of the year juniors Garvita Surana was conferred with a cheque of 5100/- and a fee waiver of 30% and Shrawasti Kundilya, Best sports person in the senior category was awarded with a cheque of 5100/- and a fee waiver of 70%.
