The senior wing of Gurukul Global School had everyone engulfed in the patriotic spirit when they organized a special virtual assembly to commemorate the 75th year of Independence, the students of class 6 to 12 mesmerized everyone when they showcased a colorful and vibrant programme.

The presentations included a Power Point Presentation showcasing the Indian freedom struggle and highlighting the sacrifices made by the leaders and kings of those times. The students also presented cultural items which were both solo and group songs and dances with lilting patriotic songs and this made the audience overwhelmed with the patriotic emotions. The most remarkable part of the entire show was that the students presented their poems not only in English & Hindi but also in Punjabi and Sanskrit.

The Principal Ms Nina Pandey in her address said that she had no words to express her happiness on the occasion and shared her pride to have such multitalented students and their love for their motherland in the school. She advised the students to keep up the spirit of patriotism in their hearts and to keep working relentlessly to take their country on the path of prosperity and success. She blessed them to be the best citizens any country would be proud of ingrained with values, integrity, discipline and being united and to keep the spirit of freedom alive and keep the Indian tricolor rocking.
