Mathematics Day celebrated to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on December 21st and 22nd, 2021with mathematical activities planned for all class.
Class 1 enjoyed ‘Shapes Pizza - A Delight’,
Class 2 participated in ‘Mathematical BINGO’,
Class 3 had ‘Symmetrical Face Mask - Joyful’,
Class 4 was engaged in ‘My Dream House – with a room of HAPPINESS- layout’ and
Class 5 took part in ‘Angle Studio’ and also ‘Mathematical Treasure Hunt’.
Class 6 students made beautiful patterns using tangrams.
Class 7 created beautiful and creative formations with Origami sheets.
Class8 had everyone wrapped in wonder when they created colorful designs using Spiro laterals on grid paper.
Class 9 students participated in making budgets for their Birthday parties giving it a creative angle.
Class 10 and 9 students also participated in Mathematics Quiz where they vied neck to neck to face the challenging questions.
All these activities were planned by the experienced teachers of the school keeping in mind the experiential learning objective, inductive and deductive reasoning enhancement and HAPPINESS for all. The activities were conducted to amplify the understanding of various concepts of Mathematics by learning while doing. Globalites participated with a great jollity and enthusiasm, and enjoyed the celebrations to the fullest.
The School Management applauded the efforts of the Maths faculty to imbibe Mathematical skills among the students.
