Gurukul Global School Knock Out North Bengal, Delhi And U.P.to Clinch The Top Slot In CBSE Nationals Table Tennis Tournament.

It was a proud moment not only for Gurukul Global School but also for Chandigarh as the Globalites clinched first ever Gold medal in CBSE National held in U.P. (Noorpur) in U-14Boys’ Table-Tennis Championship. Students from all over India and the Gulf countries participated in the event. There were 15 pools and in each pool three to four teams were there. The qualified teams of each pool played knock out game. The team of Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh defeated all the teams and sealed the top spot in the finals. The final knock out match was played between Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh and JKG International School, Gaziabad UP. The team of Gurukul Global School swept JKG International School, Gaziabad with 3-0 score and clinched the final gold trophy. Delhi Public School,Surat bagged third position and fourth position was sealed by Manavsthali, New Delhi.
Arnav Aggarwal, Samarth Sharma, Harkunwar Singh and Nishesh Dhingra were the part of the winning team.
Arnav Aggarwal also clinched the top most position in U-14 Boys’ individual category. There were total 48 players in two pools. It was played on knock-out basis. Players from all over India and Gulf countries participated in the competition.
Arnav Aggarwal (individual) and U-14 team has always emerged as a winner in whatever games they have played.
