The school elected its Student Council for the session 2012-13 by holding its annual elections to familiarize the students with the working of democracy.Students were nominated for the post of Captain,Vice Captain and Sports Captain for the four houses i.e Dronacharya,Bhrigu,Vishwamitra and Parashar.The students saw the whole electoral process and had a feeling of active citizenship.The ballots were counted and names of the student council was announced.The newly elected members marched to hold the honour and took pledge to perform their duties with utmost sincerity.Hrithik Goyal was elected as the Head Boy, Megha Aggarwal as the Head Girl and Hazel Johal as Discipline Incharge.The names of the Student Council were announced thereafter.For Vishwamitra House,from the senior section Adit was elected as Captain,Ramya as Vice Captain and Aditya as Sports Captain.From the junior section Oordhwa was elected as Captain and Tanuj as Vice Captain.For Dronacharya House,from the senior section Ayush got elected for position of Captain,Parveshika for Vice Captain and Mayank for Sports Captain.From the junior section Vibhuti got elected for position of Captain and Shrey for Vice Captain.For Parashar House,Ayushka was elected as Captain,Archit as Vice Captain and Mukul as Sports Captain.From the junior section Kavya was elected as Captain and Rishit as Vice Captain.For Bhrigu House,from the senior section Dikshant was elected as Captain,Saundarya as Vice Captain and Ritika as Sports Captain.From the junior section Dhruv was elected as Captain and Dyumat as Vice Captain.
The oath taking ceremony was held where all the members of the student council were honored with their respective badges,sashes and flags. The newly elected members marched to hold the honour and took pledge to perform their duties with utmost sincerity .Principal Mrs Aruna Bhardwaj congratulated the elected members and motivated them to direct their efforts towards achievement of their goals in the coming year.
